Overall Experience
We used Guide-Guru last year and they did a fantastic 2 day tour of St Petesburg for my partner and myself. There ended up being only two of us and were chauffeured around to wherever we wanted to go to , Aurora, war monuments etc etc including hermitage , Peterhof . We could have tailored the tour to include anything we wanted to see. We are thinking if going back again in the future and will certainly use this tour company. Anna the tour guide was exceptional as were the two drivers we had . We were driven around in lovely Mercedes cars. Nothing was too much trouble. The cost was extremely good value for money. Have fun!

My group of four did a 2 day intensive tour of St. Petersburg with Tanya of Guru Guide. It was fantastic! We picked the standard 2 day intensive tour and then tailored it to meet our interests. Tanya was there to meet us as we got through customs at the port. We were driven around town in a 6 passenger, air conditioned van by Alexander and Serge. The drivers were very courteous and did a wonderful job of dropping us off and picking us up as close the attractions as possible. Tanya was personable, knowledgeable, attentive and very pleasant to spend 2 very full days with. She did a fantastic job navigating us through crowds (and there are A LOT of crowds at every attraction), keeping us on schedule and revealing to us the wonders, history and sights of St. Petersburg. She also did a great job finding clean restrooms for my senior age mother. This tour was the highlight of our Baltic cruise!

Can you give us some helpful tips while doing tours in Russia. Is it easier to bring Russian Ruble to buy snacks , or use restrooms or eat at restaurant while you are taking us on tours? Any suggestions for us to be aware of?
